Commercial photographer Eric Schwabel lives and works in Los Angeles, California. In 2005, he opened Schwabel studio, a full production facility located in Venice Beach, California, just blocks from the ocean and the madness that is the Venice boardwalk.
A native of Minnesota, Schwael studied in New York and Paris, and received a BFA in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003. Following graduation, he moded to Los Angeles to pursue his career.
Eric Schwabel's photography is clean and modern with a classic sensibility. His body of work includes advertisements, celebrity portraiture, fashion, nudes and still lifes, and can be seen on newsstands around the globe. He has ahd solo and group exhibitions in galleries in New York, Minneapolis and Los Angeles, and his phoographs appear in private collections throughout the Unite States, Europe and Asia. |
